Kogelberg Nature Reserve

The Reserve
Kogelberg Nature Reserve, is only a stone’s throw away from Kleinmond. It is surrounded by mountains and beautiful fynbos, which makes for breathtaking views. There are two, day hikes, one of which is a trail that follows the Palmiet river.
Our experience
During our stay, the river was in full flow. We were lucky to see the mist come and go through the Palmiet river valley, during the morning hours. One of our favourites was the magnificent view from our bedroom.
Accommodation

The staff
We have to acknowledge the staff at Kogelberg. They are super friendly and helpful. One can see that they have pride in their work. The cabins and the reserve are well looked after and it was a pleasure to visit. We will definitely be back.
